As Far As Using the Docs Goes

When using the documents to support your argument, I’ve heard from multiple sources that although quoting is very discouraged, describing the document before using it to explain your argument is good. My question is, is it possible to still get the full 3 points for using the documents if you say something like, “Because of the ____ document 3 shows, …” and then jump right into using the document to help your argument? I’m just thinking relative to the time crunch of the exam.

Too hard to say based on what you’re saying here. Paraphrase the document, explain how it supports your argument then try to source it.

Good luck!
