Chunking vs. Strategies

Hi! I was wondering if chunking the essay and explaining the development of the speaker’s argument is a different strategy than simply explaining their rhetorical choices, or is it advisable that we do both? I personally feel a lot more confident in my abilities to talk about strategies, so is it alright if I ignore the chunking method altogether?

I generally think that chunking helps you find strategies - but do what you’re most comfortable with and what you’ve been doing before test day!

You absolutely want to do what works for you as today isn’t the day to make a change. It sounds like you are doing exactly as we suggest.
