what is the difference between projection, displacement, and sublimation?
Projection: I lie to everyone. I accuse you of lying.
Displacement: I am yelled at by the boss; I come home and yell at my partner.
Sublimation: I have a disappointment or a loss, I start working overtime.

In the first one, I accuse you of what I do.
In the second one, I am angry at my boss but feel afraid to show it so I take it out on someone/thing less threatening.
In the third one, I channel the energy of my sadness or anger into more work.
