Does denaturation occur at lower temperatures as well?

no they are just inactive I am pretty sure

Each protein and molecule has its optimal range of temperatures. Typically high temperatures are used to denature a molecule or a protein. Cold degeneration is possible but most times the water freezes before the protein is denatures. So under very special circumstances it could happen but almost always heating is used to denature proteins.

thank you!
