What innovations happened in China and Japan?
When? When matters! Also, innovations includes ideas, too!
Here are a few. . .
- Paper Making 105 A.C.
- Movable Type 960-1279 AD.
- Gunpowder 1000 A.D.
- Compass 1100 A.D.
- Mechanical Clock 725 A.D.
- Tea Production 2,737 BC.
- Silk 6,000 years ago.
- Paper money
- Flying money
A whole lot of things. The big ones would be the development of gunpowder weapons. in Japan they perfected the production and manufacturing of gunpowder weapons. China continued to use them
Early Modern Period was defined by exploration (maritime empires) and the continuity of empires over land. (c. 1450-1750)
Up until the Industrial Revolution in the MODERN PERIOD, Japan was still isolated and feudal at the time but harnessed gunpowder. China, however, helped diffuse gunpowder… which later on diffused westwards (most popular use is within the Gunpowder Empires in South Asia and the Middle East)!
thank you. but what about environmental as well?
