Gasoline For electricity?

Im a little confused because for the 2020 released FRQ I think Mr. Neilson said gasoline from the car is not a source of ELECTRICITY production (or maybe I miss understood). Doesn’t gasoline produce electricity in cars by turning the alternator and powering the cars battery

Theres a difference between gasoline and electricity. Gasoline does give the care fuel for transportation but it doesn’t use electricity although the battery of the car is the electric part of it.
