Historical Context v. Thesis; Understanding Docs

  1. How do you differentiate between your attempt at including the Historical Context of a document and describing the document/explaining how it supports your thesis?
  2. What is the best way to quickly understand a document that is a lengthy 3 paragraphs long? Let me know if you would like me to clarify.

Hi @ASIYA58155

  1. Historical context should be connecting to the document, whereas the document stands alone. Both should support your argument.
  2. If you’re good with skimming, try skimming it for pieces that jump out. It’s unlikely that CB will use long documents.

Makes sense! Thank you
