You are allowed to use Google during the exam, but I would personally avoid it as you can get caught up in searching and the possibility of plagiarism!
It is not cheating to use a Google search BUT you cannot be on any “sharing” sites so better than digging online, I encourage my students to only use Google for an initial search and then do NOT go any further… you don’t know what the next site leads to… Hope this helps! Good luck!
