What do each of the processes consist of
Remember PMAT for the states of mitosis.
Prophase (DNA replicates into homologous chromosomes)
Metaphase (chromosomes line up in the center of the cell, spindles and centrosomes form)
Anaphase (The chromosomes begin to separate from each other)
Telophase (the cell splits into two identical daughter cells)
Meiosis essentially goes through this process twice, as it starts with two sets of homologous chromosomes, and ends with four cells.
I hope this helps!
