What is the New Deal and its impact?
The New Deal was the set of programs that Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s and Congress enacted in order to combat the Great Depression. They were divided into three categories: Relief, Recovery, and Reform. Relief programs were designed to immediately help people who were unemployed by giving them money & food.
