New Deal contextualization?

What is the New Deal and its impact?

Hello @lauren_52177

The New Deal was the set of programs that Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s and Congress enacted in order to combat the Great Depression. They were divided into three categories: Relief, Recovery, and Reform. Relief programs were designed to immediately help people who were unemployed by giving them money & food. Recovery programs were enacted in order to get people back to work on government-funded infrastructure projects. Reform programs were made in order to ensure that the a depression like this would never happen again.

We’re talking about its effects right now, at 4:45:00.
