Generally the Ottomans were a pretty tolerant crowd, at least initially. Thing about Ottomans you need to remember is that they were around for a LONG time, so they went through a bunch of phases. It really ends up being a question of WHICH ruling dynasty was in power at the time.
but those kinds of details usully will not be explicitly tested on the dbq right? Because the dbq is usually pretty general in geographic location right? like they probably won’t give a dbq only about the ottomans?
