Outside Evidence/Cheating Question

I’m confused on what counts as plagiarism and what doesn’t. If I directly use something from a fiveable studyguide or my textbook when describing context or an outside source, will that be flagged as plagiarism?

Eh…it’s murky water in which you wade. Quoting things directly is probably not your best bet, you’re far better off putting it in your own words. Keeps you further away from the plagiarism zombies!

Alrighty Thank you!

As long as it’s not blatantly pasted material from, say, a Fiveable study guide, you’re good! As Mr. Roodman said, OWN WORDS!
