The increased combustion of fossil fuels has increased the amount of carbon in the atmosphere, leading to an increase in the amount of carbon sequestered in the ocean.
That sounds like a good answer to me, but I can’t be sure, because I’m not an AP reader. @harrison-burnside could you look at this?
