Sensory vs motor cortex

Motor cortex is at the back of the frontal lobe. Sensory cortex is at the front of the parietal lobe. The sensory cortex receives the messages from the thalamus and then transfers to the motor cortex. The message gets sent back down the spinal cord from the motor cortex and out to the peripheral nervous system.
