I’m having trouble with understanding statistical significance and standard deviation

Standard Deviation just tells us how close or far away numbers are from the mean. It measures how much our scores vary.

Statistical significance tells us if we can trust our data. If it is less than or equal to 5% we can say that our data is accurate and not due to just random chance.
