Stats Practice FRQ Question 1

On part B, he used a proportion out of 100, but is my answer still correct?
instead of doing 22/100, and 16/100, I did 22/38 and 16/38 to prove that advertisement 1 had a higher proportion of customers.

As long as you can back up your claim, your answer is also correct. You’d justify your answer by saying “out of all customers who made purchases, 22 of them came from advertisement 1 (22/38) which is a higher proportion than those who came from advertisement 2 (16/38).” He used a proportion out of 100 because he wanted to show that out of ALL 100 customers who saw the ad, 22 (for ad 1) made a purchase compared to only 16/100 who saw ad 2.
