I do not know if everyone talks about this but, does your thesis need to have “3 controls” or components? What is the best way to get the most points? Also, since there is so much material, how do you make good connections to certain events?

Hi @kenyonhall2015_59050

I’ve heard of the 3 categories rule. It will help you get points but it’s not necessary.

To get the most points, as you write make sure you’re hitting all the points on the rubric. I wrote down a rubric checklist for my euro dbq and it was very helpful.

For connections, try doing it over themes - identity, tech/econ, geography, migration, politics, foreign relations, culture, and society. Using these as guides should help with continuity.
