You must include details on what the author’s claim is, or else it looks like you don’t understand the prompt. So it could say “The author developes their claim that hippos are dangerous animals”
Be sure to clearly state the author’s purpose (don’t just say “his claim.”) This could start with the phrase “In order to (purpose)…”.
