i’m still a little confused on type 1 and type 2 errors, whats the difference between the two and how do you know when to use which?
Type I Error - Rejecting Null hypothesis (H0) & finding convincing evidence for the alt. hyp. (Ha) when we should’ve failed to reject H0 and not found convincing evidence for Ha
Type II error - Failing to reject the Null hypothesis (H0) & not finding convincing evidence for the alt. hyp. (Ha) when we should’ve rejected H0 and found convincing evidence for Ha
