I did some practice yesterday and some questions under units 1-3 asked for water testing practices.
can someone describe or explain like 2 or 3 ways to test water quality?
pH – acidity level (can be outside range of tolerance), BOD (high BOD = less DO), DO, salinity, hardness, chlorine, nitrate/phosphates (algal bloom/eutrophication), heavy metals (toxic), turbidity (less sunlight penetrating = less photosynthesis), temperature, color, and many others.
