What is considered the starting point for CCOT

Let’s say the example is “Evaluate the extent to which empires from 1450-1750 used traditional methods to govern?” (the prompt in the live stream). What would be considered traditional methods? Do we look at the traditional methods for each area and how they changed, or do we look at the traditional methods of empire building as a whole?

Traditional methods could be specific to the region or the whole. (Sorry) But, what’s different after 1750 is that tradition is (sort of) thrown out – the revolutions have individuals voting for government, not just the guy who was born to this other guy, who was born to this other guy…or the guy who beat the other guy in a war/ skirmish.

Hope this helps! Good luck tomorrow!
