Yerkes-dodson vs optimal arousal theory

im confused about the difference between yerkes-dodson law and the optimal arousal theory

I honestly think these refer to the same thing. Optimum arousal would be the “peak” of the U were your performance is most enhanced by the arousal/level of anxiety or stress you feel. Before, it is not quite enough. After, it becomes too much.

It’s what Yerkes-Dodson describes.
