what is yerkes dodson law?
The psychological principle stating that performance is best under conditions of moderate arousal rather than either low or high arousal.
If the task is difficult, to be successful you need a low level of arousal (quiet room while tasked with brain surgery). If the task is easy, then a higher level of arousal is needed (when completing a mundane task like the dishes, it is always good to have a dance party in the kitchen)
